Two Girls Talking $hit (TGTS)

Podcast Description:

This podcast is like talking to your two BFF’s, both of who are incredibly wise. I like listening to their banter and how they keep it real with each other and their audience. There is always an overall message that I can relate to, yet they add humor too which makes it more enjoyable to listen to. In this particular episode, Chrissy breaks down how diet culture and the idea of thinness is rooted in white supremacy and shares a very personal example of how she spiraled in a quest for thinness or to control her body shape, which was an eye opening experience for her. I think many of us have had that same struggle at some point in time, between accepting our body and who we are, with the message that we need to somehow be different, so it’s very relatable. And yet, in hearing her story, you can really understand how insidious diet culture and obsessing over your weight can be.
