Open to supervisors of advisors, career services or learning support staff, this learning community meets monthly during the academic year to discuss supervision best practices & challenges, share resources, and learn from others.
All faculty and faculty advisors are welcome to attend any of our professional development opportunities. Topics vary and encompass student development theory, advising techniques, career services-related topics, and student learning support resources.
The UW–Madison Advising & Career Services Conference is the largest advisor professional development event of the year. The conference features a keynote speaker, engaging concurrent sessions, and opportunities to network with colleagues.
