Build community with new advising and career services professionals while learning about key UW-Madison resources!
New advising and career services staff members are invited to participate in a community building and learning experience focused on holistic student support. Participants of New Advisor and Career Services Staff Academy will engage with each other as they learn more about various UW-Madison student support offices, such as: Financial Aid, Dean of Students, University Health Services, McBurney Disability Resource Center, and more.
NACSSA is a year-long, program that will take place through pre-work and live sessions with presenters from important student support offices. These sessions will also include small group discussions, case studies, and mock advising practice based on participants’ experiences working with students.
