First Nations Cultural Landscape Tour
Join OACS and fellow community members for a First Nations Cultural Landscape Tour, an experience that seeks to bring awareness to the historic and contemporary Indigeneity of Teejop, the place now known as Madison, Wisconsin, through place-based learning about the Four Lakes region.
Participants will visit UW–Madison campus buildings, historical markers, and archaeological sites while learning about the past and present relationships between First Nations peoples and the area known as Teejop (Four Lakes).
Please note that the tour route includes a variety of terrain, including stairs and changes in elevation. If accommodations are needed to ensure full participation, please let us know in the registration form.
