Advising 101

Advising 101 is a workshop designed for new advising staff that will take a deep dive into the advising landscape at UW-Madison. The workshop will be a mix of presentations and interactive elements, and topics will include:
- The structure of advising at UW
- The Office of Academic & Career Success’ support for academic advising
- Discussions with experienced advising staff
- Professional development and training opportunities
- Community building with other new advising staff
