The Campus Pre-Health Committee convenes members of the advising community who work with students interested in health professions to discuss updates within academic departments, opportunities and events in professional planning, and developments in the admissions process that affect students who are preparing for careers in health care.
CPHC emerged from a committee originally designed to oversee the operations of the nascent Center for Pre-Health Advising in 2010. In 2011, when CPHA achieved permanent status as an office, CPHA petitioned for a committee charter for the Campus Pre-Health Committee.
CPHC members work with a substantial pre-health population and gather to discuss updates within academic departments, opportunities and events in professional planning, and developments in the admissions process that affect students who are preparing for careers in health care.
