The Career Courses and Curriculum Community of Practice brings together staff who teach career courses or develop career-related curriculum to share insights, challenges, and opportunities.
Each meeting topic will be shaped by community members! A quick poll will be sent to the community member email list 2 to 3 weeks in advance to crowdsource discussion ideas. From there, our meetings will be highly discussion-based. The goal is to create an open, collaborative space where everyone can share, learn, and connect.
Examples of past meeting topics include course design, course policies, industry and employer engagement in courses, and building reflection into courses.

- Click here to send an email to careercoursescop+subscribe@g-groups.wisc.edu
- Within a minute or two, you’ll receive an email to confirm your membership. Make sure you are logged into your UW-Madison G Suite account, not your personal Google account, to complete the steps provided in the membership email.
- To complete your subscription to the email list, reply to the email you received and send a blank email. Do not use the option of clicking the ‘Join This Group’ button.
- You will receive a confirmation email once you have replied to the email and have been added to the group.
After completing these steps, you can begin using the Career Courses and Curriculum CoP Google Group and Email List.
To send a message to the group, simply enter careercoursescop@g-groups.wisc.edu in the “To” field of your email client. To be removed from this email list, send a blank email to careercoursescop+unsubscribe@g-groups.wisc.edu.
