Congratulations to the 2022 Advising & Career Services Award Recipients!

Cutouts of Goodson Vue’s face waved wildly on popsicle sticks as he walked up to accept the Outstanding Achievement Award during the 2022 Spring Celebration & Awards Ceremony. Vue’s colleagues in the Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) Program were overjoyed to see their team member honored for his dedication to helping underrepresented students graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Vue joined 12 members of the UW-Madison advising and career services communities in being recognized for their commitment to improving the advising and career services experiences on campus.

These awards are a recognition of not only the hard work and dedication of each individual recipient, but also of the collective work of hundreds of advisors and career services professionals who strive every day to make UW-Madison a more equitable, inclusive, and innovative place where students and staff can succeed.
