This workshop is designed for advisors who are preparing for their first summer at Student Orientation, Advising & Registration (SOAR). New SOAR advisors will learn about the structure and purpose of SOAR through experiential, community-based activities, and also have opportunities to ask questions and get advice from experienced SOAR advisors.
I really loved hearing all the different perspectives from advising units. So much valuable advice was shared that we can use at our own orientations!
