Core GenEd 101

Join us for Core GenEd 101, a virtual training session designed to support advisors as UW–Madison implements the new Core General Education Requirements (Core GenEd) in the 2026–27 academic year.

This session will cover:

  • Background and history of Core GenEd
  • Overview of the Core GenEd framework and categories
  • Timeline, including technology updates and future training opportunities
  • Additional resources to support advisors throughout the transition

Note: This session will be recorded and available after the training. We will also provide a post-training survey for participants to share questions and future training needs.
