Orientation Advising Team (OAT)

OAT is the committee  responsible for planning and implementing the SOAR advising program in both Summer and Spring.. The committee is based in partnership and collaboration between the Office of Academic and Career Success (OACS) and the Office of Student Transition and Family Engagement (OSTFE).

OAT meets approximately every other week for 90 minutes during the academic year, and weekly in the summer during SOAR.

OAT has a representative from each advising unit at SOAR and relevant campus partners. The members are appointed by their school/college/advising unit each year.
