Learning Support Community of Practice

The Learning Support Community of Practice brings learning support professional staff together to share ideas and strategies for running learning centers. Examples of discussion topics include hiring and professional development for tutors, facilitating drop-in and small group tutoring, conducting outreach, and promotion. We also identify and build campus partnerships that allow us to better support all students.

Who can join this Community of Practice?

This community is open to all professional staff and graduate student staff who work in learning support at UW-Madison. If you are interested in joining, please contact Kim at kim.mueller@wisc.edu.

How often does this Community of Practice meet?

This community meets every other month. Meeting reminders will be sent out to community members.
