The Credit Evaluation Services team will be providing training on using Transferology and TransferologyLab on April 26th from 10:00 – 10:45 am.
TransferologyLab is the source of transfer equivalencies for faculty and staff at UW. Transferology is the student facing website, with transfer equivalencies from institutions across the country. The equivalencies are the same on both sites.
The session will be a live demonstration with the opportunity to follow along in your own account. The session will include using both TransferologyLab and Transferology to view course equivalencies, find direct equivalents, and search for UW requirements.
We are providing this training because the Office of the Registrar has retired the Course Equivalency Service. It has been replaced by allowing UW-Madison students to reliably use and add equivalents to Transferology, a public transfer credit database. The Office of the Registrar held an information session about this change earlier this year. If you could not attend or would like to revisit the presentation, you can access the recording here.
This training session is appropriate for any advisor wanting a refresher on Transferology or TransferologyLab, or any advisor new to these sites.
The training will be 45 minutes, which will include time for questions.
Registration is not required. You can join the info session by clicking here on the event date/time.
