Supporting Students with Generative AI in Career Services

Over the past three months, the UW-Madison AI in Career Services Working Group has investigated and cultivated best practices for students using generative AI in their career journey. We are excited to invite our fellow colleagues to learn about the work this group has been doing!
In this virtual workshop, career services staff will learn about:
- The AI in Career Services Working Group and our process
- Philosophies about the use of generative AI in the career space
- How to coach students to best navigate the use of generative AI tools as a companion in their career journey (including a student-facing AI Career Toolkit website and resource guide for staff)
- Future opportunities for staff to engage in campus-wide work around the use of generative AI in career services.
