Navigating Hiring Uncertainty: Strategies for Career Services Staff

Thu, February 26 from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm

Connect with career services colleagues from across campus to talk about how we can support students during uncertain hiring periods, including economic downturns. We’ll look at ways to communicate with empathy, provide stability, and help students feel seen and supported. You’ll hear insights from a panel of experienced staff and we’ll work through real‑world scenarios together. There will also be time to focus on our own well‑being and explore how we can care for ourselves while navigating tough conversations in our roles.

This event is for all career services staff, even those who don’t meet with students directly! Your work with employers, events, and operations is shaped by hiring trends—and your perspective is important to the conversation.
