Intro to Academic & Career Success

Intro to Academic & Career Success is an interactive workshop presented by The Office of Academic & Career Success (OACS) where you will learn about the systems, units, and people who guide our work in facilitating academic and career success for students!
During this workshop, we will spend time using interactive activities and discussions designed to help you learn more about:
- The history and current structure of UW–Madison
- UW student enrollment, retention, and career outcomes
- The mission, structure, and staff of OACS
- Training and professional development opportunities offered by OACS
- How to become involved as an active member of our community
- Ways to share your ideas and feedback for future OACS events
Breakfast will be provided. If you have any dietary requirements, please make sure that they are up to date in your OHRD profile under “My Personal Information.”
When: Monday, February 3, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Where: Memorial Union (Please check “Today in the Union” for specific room)
Who: All New or New-ish Advising, Career Services, and Learning Support Staff
