Information Science Careers in Law & Beyond: Advising Students with Intersectional Interests

Information Science is one of the newest majors on campus. This interdisciplinary major and its emphasis on technology prepares students for a variety of fields, such as careers in law.
During this presentation, learn how information science can be a great fit for a student with an interest in the human side of technology. We will cover what information science really is, do a case study advising a student with overlapping interests, and give examples of careers in information science and law. You’ll also hear from a current Information Science student with intersecting interests in humanities.
