Helping Skills and Practice: Session 1

Helping Skills and Practice is a workshop-style series intended for new and new-ish advising, career services, and learning support staff members. Through the events in this series, we will reflect on core skills and a variety of theories that impact and guide our work with students. A specific meeting topic will be shared closer to each session date on this calendar and directly with those already registered.

When: Friday, October 11, 2024 from 9:00 to 10:30 am

Where: Memorial Union (please check “Today in the Union” for the specific room)

Who: New and New-ish Advising, Career Services, and Learning Support Staff Members

Please Note: Helping Skills and Practice is designed as a series and we encourage you to participate in as many sessions as possible. When you register for this event, you will be registered for the entire series and will receive reminders prior to each session. This does not mean that you must attend each event after registering for the series. Please attend those that work with your schedule. You are welcome to register at any time (space allowing) even if you missed earlier sessions.
