Description:
Orientation session for new users of the university’s shared Advisor Notes System (ANS). This session provides an introduction to the system, a live demonstration including navigation and record entry, and guidelines for use of the system focusing on writing and interpreting advising notes. This 1 hour and 15 minute session is required for new users of the Advisor Notes System. Users must have a work purpose under FERPA to access restricted student record data to become authorized to use this system. Undergraduate employees are currently not eligible to become authorized to use the ANS.
This training will be offered in a virtual format (Zoom). Registrees will receive an email with instructions on how to join the meeting approximately 24 hours prior to the start time.
