Advising 101

Advising 101 is a workshop designed for new and new-ish advising staff members that will take a deep dive into the advising landscape at UW-Madison! It will feature a mix of presentations and interactive elements. This workshop is a great way to build community with other new advising staff members. Plus, light breakfast will be provided!
Topics covered will include:
- The structure of advising at UW
- The Office of Academic & Career Success’ support for academic advising
- Discussions with experienced advising staff
- Professional development and training opportunities
When: Wednesday, August 28th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
