BAT supports the advising and outreach efforts of all faculty and staff who serve undergraduates and prospective students interested in majors or careers in the biological sciences. The committee provides a forum which facilitates community building, information sharing, and the collaborative development of initiatives aimed at increasing advisor and student awareness of bioscience opportunities.
BAT works with the Office of Academic & Career Success to identify and address issues relevant to the bioscience advising community.
Members of BAT represent a broad range of units: academic departments, DDEEA programs, CAE/L&S leadership, Cross-College Advising Service, Office of Academic & Career Success, WISCIENCE, and more. All interested advisors, faculty, and staff members are invited to join BAT (please fill out the involvement form).
