The Office of Academic & Career Success is an ideal resource for both faculty who advise students and faculty who supervise or work closely with advising, career services, or learning support staff.
We are happy to answer any questions about advising, career services, or learning support resources, training, professional development, technology, assessment, or program development. We can also work with faculty on best practices in supervising advising, career services and learning support staff.
Please contact us at for any of the above needs at info.oacs@wisc.edu. Check out our online events calendar for a full selection of OACS events!
Campus Resources & Referrals
Faculty are welcome to join this event series to learn more about our campus partners. Participants will engage with each other, connect with key UW-Madison resources, and learn when and how to refer students across campus.
Supervisor Community of Practice
Open to supervisors of advisors, career services or learning support staff, this learning community meets monthly during the academic year to discuss supervision best practices and challenges, share resources, and learn from others.
Technology Tools Access
Faculty who are new to campus or new to an advising, career services, or learning support role may need authorization or training to access several key student information tools.
