Giving Students a Hand with Handshake

Audience: Career Services, New Staff, Experienced Staff

Description: This workshop is for staff who want to learn about how best to help students navigate Handshake, UW-Madison’s career hub for jobs, internships, career fairs, events, employer research, and resources. After attending this in-person, hands on workshop you will be able to:

• List and define Handshake features most often utilized by students.
• Navigate Handshake for a variety of student use cases.

While the target audience for the workshop is career services professionals and career peer staff, any faculty or staff member who works with students navigating Handshake are welcome.
