SUMMARY:Helping Skills & Practice: November Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Supporting students effectively requires a strong foundation. Helping Skills and Practice Workshops offer development opportunities for staff in advising\, career services\, and learning support to strengthen core helping skills and explore theories and practices that inform our work with students. \nParticipants will engage in hands-on activities\, peer discussion\, and practical exercises that can be applied directly to day-to-day work. \n🌟 This month’s workshop will focus on how to triage emergencies and timely needs during the busy season. This session will provide space to reflect\, rejuvenate and share strategies for prioritizing student needs during busy work periods like registration.
