DESCRIPTION:Motivational Interviewing is an interactive workshop and training that will provide opportunities to explore the theory and practice behind the concept of Motivational Interviewing (MI).  \nThe concept of Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative\, goal-oriented style of communication with particular attention to the language of change. DESCRIPTION:New advising\, career services\, and learning support staff are invited to experience UW-Madison’s First Nations Cultural Landscape Tour. \nThe First Nations Cultural Landscape Tour is an award-winning\, place-based\, walking tour that welcomes guests to learn about the First Nations of Wisconsin and the 14\,000+ years of human history in the area known as Teejop (Four Lakes) and Madison. Participants visit UW-Madison campus buildings\, historical markers\, and archaeological sites to discuss historic – and contemporary – relationships with First Nations. \nThis is a walking tour that will begin at the Memorial Union Information Desk and conclude towards the west side of campus. The walking tour is not fully physically accessible due to sustained periods of walking over various terrain such as stairs and inclines in elevation (e.g. Bascom Hill).
