DESCRIPTION:Campus Resources and Referrals is your monthly backstage pass to UW–Madison’s student support network—perfect for new staff in advising\, career services\, and learning support\, but open to everyone in our communities! Each Resources and Referrals session brings you face-to-face with key campus office staff—from University Health Services to the McBurney Center—who’ll share tips on how and when to refer students for the assistance they need. It’s a great way to build your campus know-how\, grow your professional network\, and learn the best ways to support students holistically. \n🌟 November Session Topic: Learning Support at UW-Madison \nLearning Support at UW–Madison offers free academic assistance to students through a network of learning centers across campus. Services include drop-in tutoring\, small group sessions\, peer study groups\, and study skills workshops. This workshop offers a space to strengthen foundational skills and explore key theories that inform and guide our work with students. \nParticipants will engage in hands-on activities\, peer discussion\, and practical exercises that can be applied directly to day-to-day work. Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding or refresh your approach\, this workshop provides a collaborative environment for growth and reflection. \n🌟 November Session Topic: Using templates to save time!
